Thanks for reaching out. Can you try and clear your browsers cache before attempting setup once more? Alternatively let me now if you’re able to proceed from a browser incognito window.

If the above fails please share the following and we can troubleshoot further.

    1. Your Site Health information. You can share using this form.
    2. Did this occur after a plugin update or a first time install?

@artifox We’ve received a Site Health info based on this support topic. Can you confirm this was from yourself, the URL differs in the details provided?

Hi James, thans for your answer.
I uninstalled the plugin, cleaned cache browser, installed the plugin again, and show me this message:

Your site may not be ready for Site Kit
Looks like your site is having a technical issue with requesting data from Google services.
To get more help, ask a question on our support forum and include the text of the original error message:

I tried in incognito windows and show me this:

Many thanks for sharing. I’ve checked that information provided. In order to troubleshoot can you inform me of the below:

    1. Has Site Kit worked for you previously, on this site or any other site on the same hosting package?
    2. Are you on the free plan with your current hosting provider? If so I can check for any restrictions at host level.

    Hi James, I answer you:
    1. This is my fisrt time using Site Kit. This is my first time designing a personal web.
    2. I’m using the free version of awardspace.

@artifox Many thanks for the update. I’ve tested the same hosting platform and it looks like the free plan restricts outgoing http connections.

I’ll confirm with their support team and report back to you here.

Hi James, I think that in the free version that is blocked. Do I have other way to solve this?

Unfortunately I’m awaiting a reply from their support team. I’ve asked them to whitelist *.withgoogle.com which may allow you to connect. I’m able to re-produce the same issue from my side. Let’s see what they say, I’ll keep you updated here.

Just to let you know I have a reply from their support team and unfortunately you’ll have to upgrade in order to successfully connect Site Kit. It’s not something we can address from our side.

Thanks for making us aware of this, which we can keep a note of for other impacted users. Be sure to get in touch should you have any other queries.
