# Error: accessing dashboard

 * When I try to enter the admin section of my page, i get this error: \”Fatal error:
   Call to undefined function _wp_admin_html_begin() in /storage/content/44/130144/
   marika.nu/public_html/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 40\”
 * I’ve been getting it ever since I tried to update the WP- software. What do I
   do? I can’t access the dashboard thus can’t maintain my website.
 * Since I can’t access the dashboard page, I can’t get the WP version. Sorry about
   that.

 * It sounds as if you have a corrupt upgrade. You may want to try to upgrade manually.

 * Although, since I wanna start from scratch. Is it possible to just delete the
   content on the site and go around the hassle with manually upgrading? I wanna
   have a fresh start.

   with Tim S that your installation sounds corrupt, specifically that admin-header.
   php so either reinstall or upgrade WordPress by doing a manual upgrade.
