    I am getting the following error :

    The plugin encountered an error while downloading the zip file,the following error message was returned:
    Error Message : A valid URL was not provided.

    Temporary files created in /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/wpclone-temp will be deleted.

    Please let me know how to fix this.

    well,that error is from WP's http class,but I'm not sure why you're getting it. I'd appreciate it if you could send your server's php error log to support@wpacademy.com

    this might not be the best solution,but manually uploading the backup file should solve your issue.
