# Error 5xx when generating critical CSS

 * When I ask it to generate the Critical CSS, it goes up to around 80%, after which
   it crashes my server causing the entire site to display a 5xx error. It only 
   resolves when I restart the server. I’ve already tried uninstalling and installing
   again but without success.

 * It sounds like the process of generating Critical CSS is causing a high server
   load, resulting in a crash. To better assist you, could you please check your
   server’s error logs around the time the crash occurs? This could provide more
   insight into the specific cause of the 5xx errors.
 * If possible, also try to increase the PHP memory limit and execution time to 
   see if that helps the Critical CSS generation process complete without crashing
   the server.
 * If the issue persists, can you please copy-paste here the exact error message
   you’re seeing?
