# Error 524

 * The new NextGen seems to be causing 524 errors on my server. I’ve tried upgrading
   to the new version twice, and this error started cropping up both times.
 * It doesn’t happen right away, or predictably, so it’s hard to pinpoint the cause
   for sure. It seems to be the new NextGen though, from the timing of the events.

 * It says it’s most likely either an overloaded background task, database or application
   over stressing the resources on the machine and that the cause is often in the
   database.
 * Has anyone had this issue? Solutions?
 * Also, even when not getting the 524 error, NextGen galleries are loading V-E-
   R-Y slowly.

 * It’s well know issue that v2 drain server out of resources. “This is being addressed
   as a high priority” by photocrati, hopefully they fix it in next release. As 
   for today all you ca do is rool back to 1.9.13
