@lunatrix21 I suspect a PHP memory limit issue. The new version of the Browscap data file contains many new user agent string definitions (more than 70,000). You may want to ask your service provider to help you increase that limit. They can check your server error log to see if they can find any clues in there. If they find a Fatal Error related to PHP not being able to allocate more memory, then they can use those numbers to decide what the new memory limit should be. I hope this makes sense.

After an hour or two of to-ing and fro-ing with my host (marvellous host: Siteground – highly recommend) everything is good.
Sorry – I had read your php limit message but did not realise it applied to me with 4.4.1.

    All good now, thanks again.

Hello Slimstat, is there any way that the Fatal Issue can be fixed without me doing anything? Let’s say, I’ll wait it out until you guys resolve it and have the affected websites up and running? Is it possible? If so, approximately how long would it take for the issue to be resolved?

@andreaoguanco unfortunately your proactive action is needed in order to fix this issue.

@coolman Aww, that made me cringe a bit. Anyhow, thank you for your prompt reply, really appreciate it.

Like we already said, we apologize for the inconvenience and we’ll make sure that it doesn’t happen again.

    Thank you,
    Jason
