 * Hi guys.
    Had my own website on WordPress for one year, all was ok, it was Debian
   system. Just installed new Ubuntu server (tutorial is here: [https://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-ubuntu-14.04-apache2-php-mysql-pureftpd-bind-dovecot-ispconfig-3](https://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-ubuntu-14.04-apache2-php-mysql-pureftpd-bind-dovecot-ispconfig-3)).
   Then installed new 4.4.1 wordpress, all was ok as well. Tried to change theme
   to SuevaFree and got Error 500. Reinstalled wordpress- tested with Sidney theme-
   all is working. Tried SuevaFree live preview- not working at all. Help please.

    Internal server error in WordPress is often caused by plugin and/
   or theme functions. Other possible causes are: corrupted .htaccess file and PHP
   memory limit also trying to access the administrator area while the rest of the

 * Hi, thanks for Your answer. I reinstalled WordPress again, tried older version
   as well from old, working Debian server. Again, installed without problems, when
   switched to Sueva free theme (and sometimes another), i got white screen of death
   when in preview or error 500 when activated.
    I tried all: .htaccess, 128mb php
   memory, deleting plugins, etc etc.

 * Hello,
    From the error log you have written above it seems a file is not supported
   of suevafree in Ubuntu Server.

 * i’ll send you the fixed file as soon as possible
 * as alternative, you can download and install the new version of Suevafree with
   the fix for error 500 ( this update is not still available on themes section 
   of WordPress.org )

 * I’ve updated the theme today with version 2.0.0, which seems to fix the issue.
   Thanks for your suggestion.
 * _Otherwise 2.0.0 seems not to be a polished version, since it ripped my page 
   partially (no article bg color anymore). My only customization so far was to 
   insert a logo into the logo section via CSS. So this should not be the issue._

 * Hi there
    I’m having the same problem with my client’s website although they’re
   using the sueva premium theme. Would this be the same issue? If I change themes
   the site is fine but with the sueva theme I get a server error page coming up.
