Oh dear 🙁
Well, good luck then. Let’s hope that last backup wasn’t done too long ago.
Still having error on our site. I deleted via FTP, re-loaded new plugin (1.5.2) and still get 500 error.
update: went to plugins page so it was auto-disabled, went back and re-installed. Tried to activate and wordpress gave me error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /var/www/vhosts/school4santas.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/amazon-associates-link-builder/ip2country/aalb_maxmind_db_manager.php on line 197
Update 2: I needed to update my PHP version on this site. All is working fine now

Dear @iwbyte,
What was the old & new PHP version? That info will be of great help.
Thanks a lot @iwbyte for this useful information
In other words, updating to 1.5.2 is safe if I am running PHP v5.6.30?
Or should I still wait? 🙂
Cheers,
Sascha
Dear @superninchen,
Yes, it’s safe to do that since you are on PHP version >= 5.4.0. Please do that and we will await your feedback
Alright, just updated on one of my sites from 1.4.13 to 1.5.2 and I see no errors.
The site didn’t crash, no error 500.
The search form works as expected and delivers products, which I can add to the shortcodes.
The shortcodes are displayed correctly both in posts and pages.
From my point of view all is good! (Y)

..and on the second website as well. No errors.
Dear users,
We fixed the issue in v1.5.3 of plugin release yesterday. Please update the same and let us know if the issue still persists.
