• Hi,

    I’m using the Pro version of the plugin and everything is working apart from the API connection.

    I’ve got a perfectly working Amazon API account, I’ve checked with them already and there no problems there. However, when I enter the API keys, I get the following error:

    Error: 429 Too Many Requests;

    TooManyRequests: The request was denied due to request throttling. Please verify the number of requests made per second to the Amazon Product Advertising API.

    I’m not using the API for anything else so confused as to what the problem might be.

    Can you help?

    Hi,

    Can you test your PA-API keys with ScratchPad (https://webservices.amazon.com/paapi5/scratchpad/index.html)? Although your account is fine, API keys can have a problem for some occasions.

    After you find your keys valid on ScratchPad, clear the HTTP request caches via Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links (Pro) -> Settings -> Cache -> Clear Caches -> HTTP Requests. Then retry setting the API keys on the Authentication tab screen.

    Also, you might find some clues in the plugin error log which can be found via Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links (Pro) -> Tools -> Error Log.

    Hope this helps.

    I am having the exact same problem.
