Hey Pankaj,
Thanks for the reply. Yep according to my dashboard-it’s all published. However, the error message remains.
Please cross check do you have a post with title similar to “Have you forgotten what you learned last year”
If you have edit and repost.
I’ve went in to my dashboard and removed a link in case that was the problem. I still have the same issue and even when I click on “view draft”-the same error message still shows.
Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.
You’re on to something there Esmi! I did just that and my post returned.
But of course I would prefer to have a custom permalink. How come everything else is ok except this post? Is there a way around it?
Thanks!
Anth
The permalink structure you were using is not recommended for a number of reasons. In my experience, it’s a custom structure that most frequently seems to break down and need restoring.
I see, wow so much to learn. So I have the choice of an “ugly” default structure or a better for SEO permalink that sometimes breaks down?
No – you have a number of choices which are perfectly good for SEO purposes. Just ensure that the custom permalink structure starts with a numeric. Personally, I tend to use one of the date-based presets and always seem to achieve excellent SEO.
I see, I’ll have a little expirmentation with that then. Thanks a lot for your time, really appreciate it.
