 * Hi. Great plugin. Thanks for making it available.
 * I would like to modify the scary “Error 404 – Not Found” message given when users
   are not allowed to view a page based on permissions. I looked at the add-on Groups
   404 Redirect, but that did not eliminate the Error 404 message when I was logged
   in but viewing a page I did not have permission to view.
 * Is there a way to update/customize that Error 404 message?
 * Thanks!

 * Hi Christopher,
    with Groups 404 Redirect you should can to display other page
   instead of the 404 error page. Please be sure you have the settings correctly
   in **Settings->Groups 404** If you need to customize your 404 error page, maybe
   this plugin can help you: [https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/404page/](https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/404page/)
   Kind Regards, Antonio B.

 * Thanks, Antonio.
 * When I am using Group 404 Redirect add on, I still see the Error 404 Not Found
   Message.
 * I set up Groups 404 Redirect to take users to a page that I specified in the
   Group 404 Redirect settings. But if I am logged in or not logged in, and try
   to access restricted content, I am still given the Error 404 Not Found message.
 * I agree, I *should* be able to display another page instead of the 404 error,
   but I do not see that happening.
 * But really, I would really like to customize that Error message altogether. Is
   that possible within the context of the Groups plugin?
 * Thanks!

 * Hi Christopher,
 * If the options are correctly set, instead of getting the 404 the visitor must
   be taken to the page you have specified in the settings ([http://docs.itthinx.com/document/groups-404-redirect/settings/](http://docs.itthinx.com/document/groups-404-redirect/settings/)).
   Please check if your settings are correct and if they are, it might be due to
   another plugin creating a conflict.
 * Cheers
