# Error 404 After updating WordPress

 * I just updated my version of WordPress and now I can no longer access my dashboard
   at all. I get a message that says “not found, error 404”. I can not find any 
   way to get to the dashboard or any other places to work on this. It says “The
   page you are looking for no longer exists” no matter what I click on. I obviously
   only know enough to be dangerous. Suggestions welcome.

 * I had this happen to two sites…lost everything on one and now the other is down.
   I am afraid to fix it.

 * can anyone help me? I was just about to make my site live and now I can no longer
   login and get a 404 error. my site is [http://crowninnpilton.com/wp](http://crowninnpilton.com/wp).
   I fear I’ve done something stupid as I wanted to make it live and move it to 
   [http://crowninnpilton.com](http://crowninnpilton.com), so I changed the url 
   in the settings and then the error occurred.

 * also i forgot to mention, my theme has disappeared, the content is there, but
   no theme!
