It looks like the plugin wasn’t presented for review and Instagram has revoked public access for it. I’m talking to the devs now, hope they can fix it.

Cool can you let me know if anything gets updated

    Hi,
before you disconnect and reconnect your Instagram account, you must necessarily install the latest version of the Plugin.
After disconnecting the Instagram account, clean your browser’s cache and then reconnect.
For Premium version, if you have any issues, please contact us:

In my latest attempt I completely removed the plugin (including all remnants in the MySQL database) and re-added from zip (premium version) before attempting to add a user on a different machine that had never been used to manage the WordPress site (so no cookie history whatsoever), and it resulted in the same error. This was premium version 4.0, assuming last version (I cannot re-download since my link has somehow been revoked). I tried contacting you through your web form but I’m receiving an out-of-office autoreply.

Update: I can reproduce the error on different WordPress sites running on different servers, using five different browsers, with different Instagram accounts; for now I can only assume that the problem is that your plugin is not properly registered with Instagram, and they have sandboxed all apps not presented for approval since June 1.

The version to be installed is version 5.0, and then follow all the steps:
    1. Disconnect your Instagram Account and
    2. Reconnect your Instagram Account from the “setting page”.

The plugin has received all necessary permits from Instagram

Where do I obtain the updated plugin from? The download link I received when I purchased does not work anymore and WordPress isn’t providing an updated version for me.

EDIT ah, the plugin update just magically appeared.

You can download the latest version of the plugin on Mediabetaprojects.com, area “login.”
I want to remember that the premium version can be used on a single website

I was finally able to obtain the updated version of the plugin and I was succesful installing it.

As this is for the “premium” version of the plugin I’m closing this topic.
