    Okay so I reinstalled wordpress but now I'm trying to get my site by itself like instead of everything showing via.


    i'm trying to get it to show on my own domain name like this


    but I keep getting this error page:

    Error 403 - Forbidden

    You tried to access a document for which you don't have privileges.

    I tried following this tutorial http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory but it keeps telling me to copy a .htaccess file but I don't see any in my wordpress directory.

    htaccess is a hidden file. If you can choose to "display hidden files" in your FTP program, use that, otherwise go to the file manager of your controlpanel/PHPmyAdmin or whatever you got from your hosting provider.

    I chose to display hidden files on my FTP program but I didn't see it. Can you tell me where its located under.

    Youre not using pretty permalinks. Consequently, you may not have an .htaccess file yet, in fact, you probably dont. So you create one --
