After entering client id and secret, plugin generates a link to authentificate with Google but they give error 400

    Error: redirect_uri_mismatch

The redirect URI in the request, urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob, can only be used by a Client ID for native application. It is not allowed for the WEB client type. You can create a Client ID for native application at https://console.developers.google.com/apis/credentials/oauthclient

    Impossible to authorize the plugin.

  • Hi,

That’s because your API Project isn’t properly configured.

You should uncheck that option and proceed without using your own credentials, because unless you have beta access for Realtime Reporting API the realtime reports won’t be available.

    Thanks, that fixed the issue.

Is there any chance you can skip this and use the API to get client id/secret, etc.?

    No.

Okay, too bad. Other plugins support it (e.g. WordPress Google Analytics WD)

    Thanks anyway.
