This looks to me like something is outputting a PHP error to the screen, which would break the JSON endpoint that I create for the Status Board iPad app to read from.
Do you have debugging enabled or anything that would be outputting errors at this time?
Thanks for getting back to me. No, I don’t have any debugging enabled as far as I know. Any debugging steps you’d like me to take? I’m afraid my knowledge of PHP is quite limited…
What plugins do you have installed? I’ll take a look and see if I have something conflicting. Typically this is caused by something causing output. Have you tried deactivating any plugins to see if it’s just a conflict?

I’ve just done some very basic troubleshooting but I’m none the wiser…
I deactivated all my plugins, reactivated the JetPack main plugin then your StatusBoard plugin, but got the same error. I also changed my theme to another in case that was the issue, but still got the error…
Ok, so the Error message you provided me shows that something is sending output to the page using wp_redirect…I use wp_redirect only once, and it’s to hit a jump page, which then forwards to the panicboard:// URL, which should be opening up the Panic Board app on your iPad.
It sounds like what’s happening is when you click the status board menu item on your iPad, you are simply just getting this error instead of hitting the panicboard:// URL?
I’m going to need some versions of software you are using on your iPad to try and replicate. What iOS version and browser are you using to complete this action?

Interestingly (because I’m an idiot) I was actually trying this on my Mac – but, as it happens, I get exactly the same error on my iPad, so I’m guessing it’s a server-related thing.
My iPad is the latest model, and I’m looking at my WordPress page within the 1Password browser…
BTW, do you know what the Status Board URL would be? If it’s systematic, perhaps I can just type it into a web browser and at least get it working…

I’ve pushed an update that should fix this issue. It’s tagged as 1.0.3. Let me know if you still have any problems with this release, but if it all works just mark this thread as ‘resolved’ :).
In the next dot release I’ll be including a 2nd way to add the widget to Status Board (copy and paste of a URL) that will hopefully be a little easier in cases where this becomes an issue (hopefully it doesn’t *crosses fingers*).

I’ve gone ahead and did the 2nd option which is allow a copy and paste of the stats endpoint URL. It’s not live yet, just committed as a beta until you can confirm it works:
Go ahead and uninstall the current release and install this version. You can try and click on the button to add to status board, but if that doesn’t work, you should be able to copy and paste the URL, then manually add a graph to the Status Board App. If you are still having issues we may need to take this into an email thread to look deeper into some more specific configurations that your system has.

The beta works to the extent that it shows me the button to add to StatusBoard, and the URL, but both the URL and the button end up with a ‘404’ error within Statusboard.

Ah, it sounds like the stats endpoint isn’t loading. Can you try saving your permalinks (no changes, just hit save)? Settings->Permalinks.
I’ve seen this before where a conflict doesn’t allow me to flush the rewrite rules properly to add the stats endpoint.
If not, let me know and I’ll email you to resolve this further.

Thanks for your patience. I’m going to push this beta out with these two options as I think they helped narrow down the issue. I’ll probably throw a note in there about the permalinks just to be sure.
