Try to increase your php memory limit to 128MB
This is the minimum for running wordpress.
You can also try to change the cpu load setting to low.
Thanks for the reply.
I did that, it was at 64M, and now I’m getting a different error:
RESET TIME: current time: 12.052, Start Time: 1511573173.6907, exec time limit: 12
Keeps repeating during the “Prepare Directories” part of the operation.
Something I forgot to mention before: I ran this successfully and without issue before I updated the plugin. I’m not sure what version I was running before I updated to this new version, but it worked fine.
Thanks for any help you can give.
How long did you wait until you closed the cloning process?
If your site is a big one it takes a while until is done
Hello Rene.
I waited a few hours before I canceled it. I tried it again and left it overnight then got this message:
Fatal Unknown Error. Go to WP Staging > Settings and set ‘File Copy Limit’ to 1. Also try to lower ‘cpu load’ there.Than try again. If this does not help, open a support ticket
Here are the settings I used:
DB Copy Query Limit: 500
File Copy Limit: 1
File Copy Batch Size: 1
CPU load priority: Medium
Thanks!
Hi Jason,
please try to exclude all folders that contain backup files like wp-content/uploads/backup*
Also exclude old media folder like wp-content/uploads/2014 2015 2016 and so on. This reduces the risk of a timeout and hopefully allows you to finish the cloning process.
If this does not work:
I am writing on a huge update which comes soon which should resolve this issue on your system.
