• Please can you help? My blog is a hosted one: http://www.ladd.co.za/blogware My WordPress profile davepp. My email address is dave@ladd.co.za. I received an error 127 when trying to “save and Continue editing” on the latest post. I managed to get it up after about 3 hours, by going in and out of the Write Screen. I checked the forum, followed the advive there and approached my host and he has run database repairs. I am still getting error messages. The host asked me to mention that I had run out of disk space when this happened. We fixed that immediately. I have 2 blogs, so he ran repairs on both. I ran a backup just before the repairs were done – hopefully I won’t lose anything. The latest error message is below, followed by the repair log from the host. Can anyone help us please?

WordPress database error: [Got error 127 from table handler]

  • Error 127 indicates a record has crashed. I can’t believe your host can’t fix this. This is not a WP problem.

WordPress database error: [Got error 127 from storage engine]
    SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT ID) FROM wp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND post_date_gmt <= ‘2006-10-27 03:44:59’ AND (post_status = “publish”) AND post_status != “attachment”

I have the same problem. My blog is at http://enthused.org and I have pleanty of disk space. I don’t have any backups, and I can’t stand to lose everything. I don’t even know where to begin to fix it.

    HELP! =(

error 127 is still a MySQL error. Contact your host.

I too am having an error 127 problem. My host, freeservers.com seem to think the answer is for me to install WordPress again, thereby losing all my posts and all my data. Is this really necessary???

I’m having this trouble, too. I’ve been reading the various threads on it but I’m not getting anywhere. I guess I’m just venting because my computer at home just went down so I can’t really dig into this at work.

Here’s what I do know, though, I ran a Database Repair and it did nothing. That stinks.

I have a second blog that’s hosted in the same database. It’s okay, but this one is not. Ouch.

I too have this same problem. My archives are still intact but but the “main page” is gone. I’ve tried the repair but it just made my archives disappear, so now I restored my DB and now i’m back to square one.

If any one has any success stories PLEASE post.

    lowrenIT,
stop double posting and start reading!
    Quotes from above:

    1. Error 127 indicates a record has crashed. I can’t believe your host can’t fix this. This is not a WP problem.

    2. error 127 is still a MySQL error. Contact your host.

It seems like everyone who’s having this problem is on Yahoo! and that Yahoo! won’t do anything.
    Sooooo…
here’s a question. If we migrated our whole website to another host, would that screw everything up?
Would they then be able to fix it?

My site http://www.blog.com.np has been hosted on iPower. When I logged in, I saw this message at the top of the Dashboard:

WordPress database error: [Got error 127 from table handler]
    SELECT COUNT(comment_ID) FROM bl_comments WHERE comment_approved = ‘spam’

When I opened the site, there were no comments.

I was receiving massive spam (not filtered by Akismet). Can anyone suggest what’s going on with my site?
