Erroneously sending vendor registration emails

    I’m working on a dev site, adding vendors and checking the tab “do not send email to user upon registration” but I find out that emails have still been going out. Please fix this urgently!

    Hello @joopleberry ,

    I believe you are using the wp-admin > users > add-new option to add a new user. Is that correct?

    This is a default WordPress functionality. Can you please check what happens when you add a user with a different user role other than a vendor? Does it work properly?

    In a dev site, you can use plugins like this to avoid sending out emails – https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/disable-emails/
