    Hi,

I now have this up and running. Like I said in my previous post I’m pretty excited about this but I have noticed that email replies get delivered in a rather erratic way. I thought that the service wasn’t working then I wasn’t getting any replies via email, and then a whole load came in, but in an odd order.

The time stamp on these posts means that when they end up in my inbox they are in the correct chronological order, but they are not coming in chronologically.

Is there a setting that will enable me to make sure the server does a regular sweep every five minutes or something? Any ideas why this happens?

OK, this has settled down now and emails appear to be coming in correctly.

What was the reason? Plugin uses standard wp_mail function. I suggest to use some sort of outgoing mail logging plugin to check if the outgoing e-mails are in the right order (I can hardly imagine any reason for changing the order, as the notification is hooked to bbp_new_topic bbp_new_reply actions.

I’ve switched over to SMTP mail delivery rather than PHP, Ryan, and it’s all good.

    Thanks for your time,

    Jamie
