ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS while accessing admin panel (5 posts)

    After installing Newsletter plugin I am having this error.

    Simplest way to trigger:
    go to subscription -> Form fields and layouts -> extra profile fields -> add one and click save

    Changes are not saved, I'm redirected out of admin panel. Any reattemps to open http://www.mysite.net/wp-admin are giving ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error.

    If I clear all cookies in my browser (chrome, firefox) I am able to open admin panel, but repating the procedure causes the same effect.

    The same effect can by caused by other scenarios while using newsletter admin panel, but this is the one that works always.

    Tested on two independent sites (but on the same hosting service).

    Any ideas?

    Hi since there is another user having problem with cookies but admin side does not plays with cookies, probably there is some code inside the plugin which is not correct. I'm checking for it but I cannot replicate the problem and probably the effect is due to other plugin or filter installed on that hosting space.

    Maybe it will be helpfull:I was testing it with all other plugins disabled.

    I am checking back on this issues to see if there has been any progress. E I recently installed this plugin on one of my websites. unfortunatly, I keep getting the redirect loop error and eventually end up having my IP address blocked by my server - this has happened twice. I ran this plugin on another website of mine for 6+ months and never had this problem until today when I updated the plugin in and now it did the same.
    Please, any help would in needed.

    Hi Lisa, since you are the only one reporting this problem, it must be something related to your blog installation.

    Can you give me an administrative access to the not working blog (of course privately at stefano@satollo.net) and describe me exactly the steps I need to follow to reproduce the problem? (the browser you are using and so on).
