ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

    my site keeps on giving me this error “This webpage has a redirect loop

    ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS” error came when updating wp from 4.1.2 to 4.2.1 and am not sure if web.config file is the problem because i have checked everything in web.config file and nothing wrong with it

    first thing you should do is disable all Plugins by logging in to FTP and rename plugins folder to plugins.HOLD and then rename active theme folder too.

    this is done to make sure our plugin/theme isnt throwing this loop

    renaming plugins wont affect anything?
