ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE – No Data Received (MediaTemple)

Hi,

I successfully installed WP on silkscreenfestival.org/wordpress yesterday. Had the site up, it went live (it was already populated from a test server). This morning I am getting ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE, with no major changes on my end. I can’t see the site or WP Admin. i’ve had others outside my home try to view it and no one can. A WP programmer friend checked out my install, config & index.php files and declared them to be in working order and suggested it was a server issue.

Hosting support at MediaTemple gave me some tips on htaccess structure and told me it wasn’t their problem. Everything online suggests that it probably is.

Does anyone have any insight into this?
