 * Using the 0.9.4 version of W3TC. I have minified and browser caching turned on.
   I am seeing the following error in Chrome 39 the first time I load any page on
   the site after clearing all the caches.
 * [http://<site_url>/cache/minify/000000/37fbf/default.include.1c3913.css](http://<site_url>/cache/minify/000000/37fbf/default.include.1c3913.css)
   net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED
 * I get a similar error in FF and Safari. “Failed to load resource: cannot decode
   raw data”
 * Again this only happens the first time after the caches are cleared. Subsequent
   page loads appear to be fine.
 * Not sure what the issue is. I have tried resetting to the default settings for
   W3TC and turning on just browser caching or just minify and both work on their
   own, but it seems the combination is causing some issues.
 * Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 * Thanks

 * After some additional testing it appears that the first time after the cache
   is cleared W3TC is returning a zero byte gzip file for the minified CSS/JS. This
   is causing the browsers to throw the error I am seeing. After much hair pulling
   and head banging I ended up disabling minify within W3 Total Cache and using
   [Better WordPress Minify](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/bwp-minify) instead
   to do the JS/CSS minification. it worked pretty much out of the box with very
   little configuration.
 * Frederick great work on W3TC, I know it is a lot of work to build and maintain
   such a complex and comprehensive plugin. If you would like more info to help
   debug the issue I was having I would be happy to discuss via private message
   or email.
