# ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

 * This is a self hosted site. helsellsgunshop.co.nf everything was working fine
   and I moved on to making my site responsive (I do not think that is what caused
   the issue but it was what I was doing last).
    I cannot log into or see the site
   period. If I use a proxy then I can view the site and sign in as admin. If I 
   go to someone else’s home and use their computer I have no problems either. After
   researching the suggestion I found was to make my ip static, which I did following
   the directions on this site [http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/19249/how-to-assign-a-static-ip-address-in-xp-vista-or-windows-7/](http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/19249/how-to-assign-a-static-ip-address-in-xp-vista-or-windows-7/).
   After doing this I reran the command in the command prompt to verify and it gave
   me a lease on an ip address so I took it as everything went well. The problem
   is that it didnt help and I still cant log in or see my site. I just updated 
   to 4.1 through the proxy and this has been going on for several weeks now.

 * It looks like your public IP has been blocked at hosting server end.
    With the
   link you provided in your topic, you have set Private IP address. To find out
   public IP address, just browse the link [http://whatismyip.com](http://whatismyip.com)
   and provide that to your hosting provider to check if it is blocked at their 
   end.
