    I am hoping that the great coding minds here on the WP|Forums can help me out. I’m using a downloaded theme called “Elbee Elgee” that I’ve been progressively modifying and I’ve been trying to figure out how to make the white section where the content goes transparent. I included a link to a screenshot of the site, and I’m sure you can figure out what white part I want to make disappear.

  • First, a screenshot is usually of very little help in finding/testing CSS changes. Please post a link to a page on your site where the problem can be seen.

    Second, if the white background is 100% transparent, the text will probably not be readable. Are you wanting to change that as well, or do you want just partial transparency?

    Tim:
    I’m the theme author, so maybe I can be of assistance.

    Try

    div#container {
        background-color: transparent;
    }

    See if that works.

    Actually, shortly after I posted this I found out I could use the background image for the text field. So I actually figured it out fully. Still working on a way to make all text white and all alinks a yellow… but other than that I’m good. Thanks!

    Mind marking this as “resolved” then?

    Thanks!

    Yeah, no problem. Thanks for the help!
