 * The short answer is “probably not.” File conversion ability is third-party (via
   Google) and they have let their tool languish, as they often do.
 * Have you tried epub to PDF conversion using on online converter? How are the 
   results?

 * thanks for the quick response!
 * I was not able to try online conversion because of the size of my ebook: 860 
   MB…;-) But converting it with calibre worked after some trial & error.
 * Unfortunately I was not able to find a tool for displaying ebooks online without
   conversion or downloa. Readium seems to be something like that – but I am no 
   nerd and dont know how to use it.
 * I will try Your tool to display the pdf…
