# eps file

 * Hi All,
 * I have a small delema. I would like to upload my logo.eps (because it has a transparent
   background). But wordpress does not allow .eps
 * what alternative do I have.
 * I have other jpeg and gif versions but they all have a white back ground which
   really limits my options in terms of my theme.
 * Thanks in advance for any help.

 * The logo you have on your site appears to have a transparent background. Is that
   not the correct one?
 * Use a graphics editor app create a new gif or png image of the required dimensions
   with a transparent background from your eps. If you don’t have the software or
   knowledge of how to do this it should be a quick job for a pro to do this for
   you.

 * thanks for the reply. I kinda figured it out after posting this.
    I converted
   it to png using Corel. It looks rather cut and paste though.

 * It looks like your software just changed the white to transparent rather than
   applying alpha transparency which would give an antialiased smooth edge. This
   is possible to achieve in Fireworks & should hopefully be in your software as
   well if you can find the options you need to set.
