Ephemera widget – "MUSIC interruption issue"

Hi, is there a WordPress superhero out there who can help me?

My website uses the Ephemera widget in the sidebar to let people play meditation music while browsing the site. The whole point is for people to get a feel for my organization through music, not just text and images. But I need a way to keep the music playing. Right now, every time you click on a new page, the music stops!

I like that the Ephemera widget works in all browsers and relies on users to turn it on. But I would love the little “play” buttons to open a new tab, so they don’t lose the sound as they browse the site.
