• My testing is not working out well.
I believe I have it set up correctly, and have several test users of various member levels set with EOT dates that should be triggering messages now.
    Auto-EOT is enabled.
    Renewal/Reminder set as follows:
enabled = YES – intervals set for -5,-4,-3,-2,-1,0 – messages filled for each interval – EOT dates set for users

No messages. Could it be that the cron is not running? Does anyone know the cron event name and how to determine if it is working?

    Thanks in advance!

  • The cron name is ws_plugin__s2member_auto_eot_system__schedule

I suggest using the plugin WP Crontrol to track your cron jobs.

    Thanks KTS

I have WP Chrontrol, and have been hitting that cron event. Still no messages. There must be something else missing on my test system. Hate to test things on a production system, but might since I know all other EOT notifications are working OK there.

Have you had success with the renewal/reminder messages?

    Thanks again.

What environment are you testing on?

I ask because, on my localhost development site, I can’t get the cron jobs to work either. But on the production site where I’ve used them, they worked fine.

That was before the update to WP 4.4.2, though, so I don’t know if that’s changed anything.

My testing is on a clone of the site that sits on the same server as the live site. However, the “clone” is a bit old and there might be something not quite in sync.

I think all I really need is to know that the renewal/reminder function has actually worked for someone else. That would give me the confidence to go ahead and try it on the production site. It would be a no-brainer if I were only adding a function. But, this is to replace another “S2 Renewal Reminder” plugin.

    Thanks for your advice!

    Follow up…

The function works perfectly on the live site. Something was wrong with my testing/clone site.
