wordpress-seo/js/dist/analysis-1490.js is not finishing loading. It gets an EOF error. Why is the file so large? What is it doing? It is 2.5MB.

    Hi @1000camels,

    Thank you for reaching out.

We understand that you are having issues with loading Yoast SEO on your site.

It is correct that this specific file is 2.5MB. This is the main Javascript file that loads in the page editing screen to give you the analysis we give in the Yoast metabox. If your site or host has limited resources such as PHP memory or max_load_time, you might need to talk to your host to increase these limitations. If necessary, you can point them to our plugin requirements here: https://yoast.com/help/plugin-requirements/.

    Hi,

We were able to get it to work by seeting this variable, SubstituteMaxLineLength to 10MB in mod_substitute in Apache.

Is this something you are away of?

    Hi,

One of our users previously mentioned that they came across a thread where the line length of a request was too long for Apache to handle with the ‘substitute’ module and that setting the variable of SubstituteMaxLineLength to 10M to the .htaccess file could correct memory-related issues with websites.

However, we’re not familiar with this being a common issue at all for users of the Yoast SEO plugin and we’re also not familiar with your specific setup so we would recommend that you talk to your host about this particular setting accordingly.

    Hi,

Perhaps you can add this to your documentation, so others do not hit the issue.
