Me too!! Just updated to Envira 1.5.0.2 and no title/caption.
Any ideas?

Apologies, forgot to add the url:

Just upgraded to Envira 1.5.0.3 and the problem persists. Each image talks about its ‘title’ but the Lightbox talks about the ‘caption’ display. I assume Title and Caption are the same?
HELP!! (please)
I thing so, but neither one of them display. Hey boys from Envira, any ideas? Some quick patch for instance? Thank you!
Hi Petrmachacek,
Looks like Envira have no interest in this issue since it’s the free version. That doesn’t encourage me to upgrade!!
It’s still a problem for me.
If you get a resolution, please be sure to post it here.

I’ve got the resolution – downgrade to some version under 1.5.0.2. Does anybody know where can I get it?
Hey!
In lightbox view the text entered for the image’s Caption field from the gallery edit screen is what will appear. Can you confirm that you’ve edited the image metadata from within the gallery edit screen to add text to the Caption field for this gallery?
Thank you for your input Erica.
First of all for clarity – I see no mention of a ‘Caption’ field in the Gallery edit screen. There is a ‘Title’ field. This is filled in with the required title. When I view the photo on the web site the title/caption does not appear. I am certain that the title DID appear under the photograph with the version prior to 1.5.0.2

Dear Erica,
also thanks for your reply.
In the edit screen of Gallery (Edit Envira Gallery), part Lightbox there is no field for Capture text. There are only: Enable Lightbox, Gallery Lightbox Theme, Image Size, Caption Position. The only possibility to add the text is in the part “Images” and there “Modify image”and “Edit Metadata”. There are only 3 fields for fill in the text: Title, Alt Text and URL. I tried Title and Alt Text. No one displays during the photo show.
I also tried to make the text by editing the Picture in the Media library of WordPress – no success.
I think the only possibility for us, who have free version, is to downgrade the Envira.
Give them a chance – I think they’ll fix it!! 🙂

Well, I was wrong. So wrong.
They tell me they have removed the title/caption function in order to force users to upgrade to the paid version.
What sharp practice. Of course it has the reverse effect – I assume that if I pay for the next level version, they will then remove function from that and force a further upgrade.
It says something about the business ethics of Envira.
Once bitten . . .

Thanks for the information. I´m going to downgrade Envira to 1.3.5.8 or 1.3.5.9. No reason to have 1.5.0.x with no titles.
How did you get the earlier versions?
FP
Great. Thanks. What is the latest version without the problem?
