If you encounter that something in the database in not replaced, you could export only the database on the new site by using advanced options.
Then fill in the find/replace with the relative url that you need changed.
Export and then reimport the file onto the site. It should be replaced.

OK. Can you explain (or point to some link where this is described) what replacements are done (or aren’t done) under the hood when exporting (or importing)? Because these strings are part of the wordpress site structure of the backed up system and in the database so I expected them to be replaced.
Also would this specifying of a replacement string work correctly in this kind of an array? After all the length of the result can differ after renaming.

The plugin will replace the site/home urls and upload path.
There are some additional replacements done on per plugin basis that require base64 decoding and serialization but it is the site and home urls that are replaced together with the upload path.

In this case we are talking about the content_url that is in the associated array.
Having said this I now backed up another site and used that as an import. Both parts in associated array are unchanged but that seems to be irrelevant for the galleries itself. They normally work and when inspecting html their location is pointing to the right (so new wp-content) location. Weird but true………
I guess only Envira Gallery support can explain this but this is not the right forum for that………!
