Entire site is wordpress, want to use blog functionality

This is my website, the site is entirely run on wordpress.
The issue I am currently having is that I want to make a blog. I currently have a blog page that is password protected (dont want it to show on the website just yet) but when i click on it, it’ll take me back to the homepage.
In “Reading” I have set the “Front Page Displays:” option to “static page”, the front being Home & the posts being Blog.
I am completely lost!
