    Hi there!

Yesterday I installed the Maintenance Plugin and everything worked fine – except for some caching issue. When caching was enabled the plugins design setting would not be displayed in frontend. After disabling cache all together this worked.

My actual problem is now, that today I wanted to login via Maintenance Front page, but I only see the spinning wheel and the maintenance view reloads. nothing happens. I am not being logged in.

I tried accessing the backend directly, however I was being redirected to maintenance frontend page again.

Only way to log in with the very same login data is by accessing /wp-login.php directly.

Yesterday the login worked just fine, and the user was redirected to front page…

Any help? MAybe someone has seen this behaviour before??
I checked server log files, but no errors whatsoever.

    *scratching my head*

Ok, I figured out that the Plugin Recapthca by Jörn Lund was the culprit. When activated as well as the option for login form was checked (show recaptcha on login form) then the login via Maintenance page would not work, as the captcha wasn’t visible there and thus the user couldn’t solve it and as result could not be logged in.

So I will contact the developer of the Recaptcha plugin (Jörn Lund) and he will hopefully provide a fix 🙂
Or you could provide a fix…

    Thanks!

    Hello Saskia,

    Thanks for using our plugin

If the problem is with conflict with the Plugin Recapthca by Jörn Lund.
We recommend to use Google recaptcha. It compatable with Maintenance plugin:
