 * I am using the latest version of WorPress. I created a child theme yet did not
add the enqueue code into the functions php file. However it loads the parent
CSS fine so my question is, does the newest version contain the enqueue already
   written in?

 * No. What’s in your child theme style.css file? Did you activate the child theme.

 * Yes I have the style.css in the child theme. I followed directions to create
a new functions.php but every time I load the site it gives a bunch of errors
up top above the header. everything else loads fine though just those annoying
text errors. So I removed it and so far all works as it should. I am just trying
to understand why it does that.
