Since the update to MaxGalleria 3.1.8 the light box enlargements don’t close easily. The cursor shows an image of a minus in a spy glass that communicates you that you can click anywhere in the darkened background to close the image, but that doesn’t work. You have to click exactly on the “x” immediately above the top right corner of the image only. In the top row of thumbnail images, the “x” doesn’t show at all, and if you don’t know that there should be an “x” above the top right corner, you would not even know you can click there, thus you have no way to close the image except by leaving the page. Can you tell me how to get the whole black background clickable so an image can be easily closed?

    jessica20100337,

You can configure the light box to close in several other ways. Under the options tab you can check one or both of these options: Close on Background Click Enabled (click anywhere outside of the image to close) and Close with Escape Key Enabled (press the Esc key to close).

Wow! Thank you!!!! That’s what it needed, all right. I followed your advice on clicking both options too. I love the Escape Key bail out! And I checked another one that used to be there as well: the forward and back arrows. So wonderful hearing from you, thanks again!
