• Hello Community,

I’ve recently upgraded to WordPress 4.8.1 and updated the Enigma-Parallax theme to version 1.4.3 – since doing so, my main menu has disappeared! I’ve tried everything to get it back.. re-publishing it, saving it, designating it as the Primary/default menu, etc. Sadly, nothing seems to work. Strangely, the menu DOES appear in the Customize Theme preview under Appearance.. but not on the actual live site after Publishing (both desktop and phone versions).

Wondering if there is something like an update log in WordPress so I can try rolling back to an earlier version of WordPress and/or an earlier version of the Enigma theme (when everything was last working correctly)? I remember seeing a roll-back link right after the update, but haven’t been able to find it anywhere since..

Any help greatly appreciated – thank you in advance!

  • Hello!

Switch to a default WordPress theme and see if the issue persists. If not, then it means it’s something theme related, or perhaps the theme + a plugin, so you might want to disable the plugins as well to see if that fixes the problem.

If it’s theme related, you should ask here for better assistance – https://wordpress.org/support/theme/enigma-parallax

Make sure you perform a backup before switching themes and disabling plugins.

Thank you so much, Blade.. great advice!

Is there a way to move this post to the Enigma-Parallax support forum? Because I tried posting my question there and the system flags it as a duplicate.
