Enhancements for non logged in users

Great plugin. Really like the messages and redirect for limbo users, but would like more for non logged in users. Currently they are just redirected back to site home without any notice or indication that they need to be registered. Would like the option to redirect them to registration page. I did see this note in the 3.0 change log “* Added ability to make website a private network where only registered members can view any BuddyPress pages. Certain page exceptions can be made. Visitors are redirected to the registration page.” But it looks like blog home is hardcoded now. And what “certain page exceptions” are there?
