    Hi there,

We recently updated our site (complete new build). We’re currently running WooCommerce version 3.8.0 and have WooCommerce Google Analytics Integration version 1.4.15, amongst a host of other plugins. If it makes any difference we’re using elementor as the build theme.

Using GA debugger extension and looking within GA I can see that only pageview data is being transmitted but only whilst I’m using an incognito browser. If I’m logged in as an admin then the pageview firing.

You can see the settings for the plugin here: https://ibb.co/qW4M8Rt

If it makes any difference I am using “Add to Cart Redirect for WooCommerce” plugin. Together with “YITH WooCommerce Multi-step Checkout Premium”. I’ve also tried disabling my caching/speed optimisation plugin which made no difference.

Hope you can help as I’m out of ideas,

    Thanks,
    Barney

  • Turns out it was the cache plugin that I was using. However whilst I’m logged in as an admin the cache is disabled which is why I never saw the problem.

I have the option of grouping all JS checked which caused the problem. I’m using the breeze plugin which allows me to exclude JS scripts from being included but I’m unsure how I reference the GA script to be excluded from being grouped

    Hey @callbarney

Glad to hear you were able to identify your caching plugin as the problem.

I’m not familiar with that plugin, so I’m not sure how it works or how it references scripts running on your site. I’d recommend checking in with it’s developer as they should be able to give you a better idea of that. The plugin runs several JS scripts both directly from the plugin as well as Google, so I’m not sure the best way to sort all of that with the plugin you are using.

We haven’t heard from you in a while, so I’m assuming that the above information helped. I’m going to mark this thread as resolved but please don’t hesitate to start a new thread with any other questions or problems.
