Currently, WooCommmerce Payments is translated into French so you should not need to manually move those files around, as per: https://woocommerce.com/document/payments/#section-25
In order to make use of this translation, all you would need to do is ensure that your Site Language is set to French via WordPress > Settings > General, then go to Updates > Update Translations: https://d.pr/i/DHiZ59
If you want to be able to further customize the strings used, then you can follow the steps from: https://woocommerce.com/document/payments/faq/translations/#section-2

Thank you.
The website language is in French and the translations are updated.
The settings pages are still in English.
Only the menu titles and the payment page are translated.
I use wordpress multisite, is it a problem?
