    Dear all,

Can you help me solve the following problem:

    – After the Woocommerce update (2.04) there is a problem with the loading spinner on the checkout page.

I’ve tried to solve the problem with these instructions: http://docs.woothemes.com/2012/08/19/endless-loadingspinner-on-the-checkout-page/
But unfortunately it didn’t work for me.

The error: wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=woocommerce-checkout 404 (Not Found)

    My specs:
    – 128 MB Memory (in the WP config settings + server / host)
    – WP 3.5.1
    – WC 2.05
    – The URL’s in Settings > General match
    – Wootique theme (most actual theme)
    – some basic plugins.

Well, what have I already tried?
    – Disable (and enable) all plugins -> didn’t work
    – Disable and enable Woocommerce -> didn’t work
    – New install of Woocommerce (but I didn’t deleted the DB, so this is still the same DB)
    – New install of the WP /admin folder

    Nothing worked for me πŸ™

    Any suggestions?

    Best regards,
    Freek

    EDIT:
    The error also contains: jquery.js:2

    send jquery.js:2
    v.extend.ajax jquery.js:2
    (anonymous function) checkout.min.js:1
    v.event.dispatch jquery.js:2
    o.handle.u jquery.js:2

    {“result”:”failure”,”messages”:”

    and so on

Do you have a link to the checkout?

    This:

    – Disable (and enable) all plugins -> didn’t work

Did you leave them disabled when testing (sorry if stupid question)

    Dear Mike,

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

Yes, I’ve a checkout page set in the backend. Also with the shortcode.

Please, see my Edit (there is also a jquery.js:2 error)

    Hi Mike,

I’ve just send you an e-mail using your site …/contact/, beceause I don’t want to post the link on this site (it’s a working webshop).

    Thanks.

I didn’t get a spinner, but I think you should look at the plugin/code you used to customise the checkout page (and any other plugins!) before thinking its WC core.

FYI that area is supposed to refresh as you input postcode/country etc – don’t mess with this as it can break certain things like shipping quotes.

    Hi Mike,

Have you also placed a (test) order? That’s when the spinner appears.

There’re no extra codes on the checkout page (it’s just the basic regular page in WC).

    Any suggestions?

I didn’t try to place an order – if thats when it happens, it may be the gateway. Another side effect of hiding those address fields – some gateways need them.

Have you tried with an uncustomised checkout?

(i’d try but it requires creating an account!)

    Hi Mike,

I’m sorry for the late reply, but I was checking (over and over) my website again.

Today, I’ve setup a whole new website with only:
    – Woocommerce 2.05
    – WordPress
    – Wootique theme (changing the theme doens’t fix the problem)
    – Askimet

But still the endless loading spinner appears (most of the time, sometimes the checkout works). I’ve also contacted my host and created a .php info file to make sure I’ve 128MB memory. Settings (backend) are fine.

I’ll sent you my test website. You can place test orders. No account is required.

    Can you help me?

    Best regards,
    Freek

I had the same problem and Just found a SOLUTION.
I started deactivating my pluggins one by one until I found the one that had conflict with woocomerce, I eventually found that WP-Mail-SMTP was the pluggin causing the order confirmmation not to show up and made spinner to run forever. After deactivating WP-Mail-SMTP eveything works fine.. I hope this canwork for you as well.. It could be another pluggin, just check ..Cheers guys !

    @tommyturch

Tommy, i disable that WP-Mail-SMTP. But still infinite loading.
There is any other thing that you have done?

Hi manjitchauhan, I want to move Apply Coupon box from Cart Page to Single/Detail Product Page. User can enter the Coupon code of product in its Detail Page either going to Cart page, the system checks the coupon is it either valid or not then moves to the cart page for further steps. Any help?

Hi manjitchauhan, I have found the solution by another way.
There is 2 javascript files on woocommerce with conflites, i think, only with my site.

    jquery.blockUI and jquery.blockUI.min

Replacing those 2 solve the problem…

    Look my store: http://www.siliconmixbrasil.com.br/home/loja

@manjitchauhan Please do not solicit people to contact you, stop using a signature and if you’re really a “WordPress Developer” at least get the “WordPress” right.

Just do not use a signature. πŸ˜‰
