Endless compression process

Hi team,
after last update, every time I try to load a new image, the compression process continues endlessly and does not compress it. The only way to stop it is to delete the image.
I am not using WordPress 5 – Gutenberg.

Could you please try first of all to clear your browser’s cache and see if this solves the problem?

unfortunately cleaning cache did not solve the problem.

I have the same problem and see also several JS errors in the browser console.

Edit: Did a rollback to 4.12.1 and it’s working again. The error exists in the both following versions.

Hi,

the animated icon in the admin bar is gone (except for the media page).
But it’s not working, still having errors in the browser console:

do you have a proxy configured in the browser you’re using to access this page?

Hi,

no I don’t use a proxy in my browsers.
The errors are on every page from the Dashboard.
Version 4.12.1 works fine
