Endless amount of Notice: Undefined index:

Hi
These notices started popping up into my header suddenly a couple of weeks ago, first against Google Analytics widget so I deactivated that, then against Contextual Related Posts and now here is the current stream of notices. I have tried deactivating and activating one widget at a time but cant pin down the bug.

Any suggestions?

Are you running the MailPoet plugin?

Yes I am, I have been using it successfully over a year now and it also ceased up and stopped sending emails. I tried deactivating that one also to no avail plus I have updated the latest version.

Unfortunately, it sounds like you were the victim of a hack which struck outdated versions of the plugin: http://blog.sucuri.net/2014/07/mailpoet-vulnerability-exploited-in-the-wild-breaking-thousands-of-wordpress-sites.html

Right now, the only option is to update the plugin to plug the hole, and replace all of your files with backups from prior to the event.

If you don’t have a backup, you can get a new copy of the WordPress core files at http://wordpress.org/download/ and new copies of your plugins and themes at http://wordpress.org/plugins/ and http://wordpress.org/themes/

Considering the reach of this hack, you will need to replace all but your uploaded media files in /wp-content/uploads/ .

Once your new files have been uploaded, always remember to keep WordPress, your plugins, and your themes up to date.
