    Hi

We use the WooCommerce shortcode [sale_products columns=3] to show products which are on sale.

The customer normally set a sale price and a start date and an end date.

This always worked fine. But now it does not work anymore since some time.

When the sale ended (actual date is after the enddate) the products are still shown. With the normal price and without the sale badge, but they are still there.

Also with the shortcode [products on_sale=”true” columns=”3″]

We have to remove everytime the sale price, the start date and the end date for that the product is not shown anymore.

    Can someone explain and help?

    Thanks very much.

    Best regards
    Mike

    Hi

    Sorry für the late answer.

I tryed it out without the Avia Builder (Enfold) and here also one product is shown where the sale ended:

Thank you for the update, and no worries about the delay 🙂

I’ve checked your link and can confirm that the product is still appearing on the page even though the sale has ended.

I’ve also tested this on my end and was able to replicate the same behavior, so it doesn’t appear to be specific to your setup or the Avia Builder.

I’ve escalated this issue internally for further investigation. As soon as we have more information or an update from the team, we’ll get back to you.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

    Hi again

I’m glad you were able to figure that out and confirm that it’s not due to our setup, but that it’s actually a bug in WooCommerce.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi there!

Thank you for your patience. I would like to inform you that our developers are already aware of this issue, and they are planning to fix it in WooCommerce version 10.8.0, as mentioned here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/pull/63856

In the meantime, you will need to manually remove the sale price from products where the sale has ended.

    Thank you.

    Hi there!

Yes, that’s correct. At this point, it would be best to wait for the upcoming WooCommerce version 10.8.0, where this issue is planned to be addressed.

If anything changes or you notice new behavior in the meantime, feel free to let us know we’ll be happy to help.

    Hi

Ok. As I saw, the next release 10.8.0 will come on May 19 2026, then this problem should be fixed anyway.

    Best regards
    Mike

P.S. I will do the review.
