Support » Plugin: Events Manager » End time for All Day Events should be 23:59:59, not 00:00:00

  • Digging into the code, I see that if an event is set to be an All Day Event, both the start time and end time get set to 00:00:00

I understand that an All Day Event for a single day (e.g. February 1, 2017) would be at 2017-02-01 00:00:00

However, the end time shouldn’t be the same. Instead, it should be 2017-02-01 23:59:59

Please take this feedback into consideration for future updates.

    Thank you.

    Hi Clifford,

We don’t actually modify the dates when dealing with all day events, given that we already pre-format the times depending where we need it when it’s all day. Some formats need it with the time like you say, others (such as google calendar) require it to be 00:00 of the following day.

That said, I agree it makes sense to reset the time to the way you describe, and having reviewed the code carefully (hence the delayed reply) it doesn’t look like it’ll affect anything adversely so we’ll do it in the next update.

    Thanks, Marcus.

    Glad to help. 🙂

FYI: My TK Event Weather add-on for Event Manager was released a while ago. 🙂
