It does have database encryption, you can enable it the following way. * Please edit the backup job you created and navigate to **DB Backup** tab. User should be able to find how to decrypt database not only from your plugin. It does not require code when you restore a DB backup file. * However, the database file of a website will only be restored to the same website where it was created from and not to anywhere else. * This is why the restoration did not work when you tried on a fresh WordPress install.
