I just installed the heatmap plugin. It seems wo work nice. I just didn’t find any informations about the settings on the panel. Do I need to enable “Record” on every single page? What does the “body clicks” and “inactive clicks” settings mean?

    Hi gabberkopf,

Sorry for coming back to you so late. We relied on receiving notifications from wordpress.org, but it seems there are none.

With the free plan, you have to indeed toggle “Record” on every page you want to track, as you are limited in the number of tracked pages. With higher plans, the most important pages of your site are detected by our system and added automatically.

Inactive clicks are clicks that are done on elements that are not supposed to be clicked (links, buttons, javascript-enabled elements), but which have an id
Body clicks are like inactive clicks, but that are not done on an element with an id, so we can only attach to the body of the page

Sorry again for the delay in our response, we’ll be more present on this forum moving forward!
