[Resolved] enable navigation arrows to display permanantely

  • Hi there – really great plugin – thanks. I was wondering if there is a way to make the navigation arrows permanently display on the fancybox image? Currently when the image pops up – the arrows will only display if the user hovers their mouse to the left or right. Is there a way to make this happen automatically? I’m pretty good with PHP and a little Javascript.

    Thanks

    That is only possible by hacking the FancyBox script code… If you want to do that, you might get help on https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/fancybox

    Downside is that upon the next plugin release, you hack will be overwritten.

    Thanks Ravan – I found an easy solution – I just added this to the CSS.

    #fancybox-left span {
    left: 20px;
    }

    #fancybox-right span {
    left: auto;
    right: 20px;
    }

    Funny. I could have given you that answer immediately but I must have completely misread your question… Or more likely I pasted a response to another question in your thread. Sorry.

    Good thing you did not give up looking for an answer 🙂
