Support » Plugin: Enable Media Replace » Enable Media Replace Not Working for Me

  • Hi – Like the idea of this plugin a lot, but it’s not working for me.

I notice that the newly uploaded image goes into a folder called /replaceimage/name-of-image. But the links in my posts still retain the default URL structure: /wp-content/uploads/2013/09/ ….

Should one of these be different? Should either the new image have the old URL structure or should the URL structure in the post take on the new URL structure?

  • Oh, sorry. I think that first URL is the URL of the post I’m posting to. I named it “replaceimage” as a test. Anyway, that’s the URL I’m getting when I look in the media library — when I click on “Edit” in the media library, and I look at the image page, the URL directly above the image gives me a URL like that: mysite(.)come/catname/postname/imagename. And that’s it. There’s no jpg at the end. And when I click on “View Attachment Page,” there’s nothing there.

This sounds very strange. I haven’t encountered anything like this before. Could you upload a new image and test it on that?
